Sweetness: Acesulfame-K is 180-200 times sweeter than Saccharose sugar. The sweetness starts quickly and the flavor does not last long. Like Saccharin, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste, especially when in high concentrations. Acesulfame-K is often used in combination with other sweeteners such as Aspartame and Sucralose. This combination is thought to help create a more sugar-like taste as each sweetener will mask the aftertaste of the other.
Stability:  Acesulfame-K is stable under the effect of heat, even under strongly acidic or alkaline conditions, it is allowed to be used in baked goods or products requiring long shelf life. Compound has high stability in liquid environment.
